LUTHER L'A RÊVE, OBAMA L'A ACCOMPLI

  " I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today! ...."

     
 Oui le "rêve américain" n'est pas qu'une fiction car, même s'il était donné favori, Monsieur Barack OBAMA aurait pu être victime de la réticence des américains a élire un président métis. La première démocratie a donné une nouvelle vision de la démocratie et une bonne leçon au reste du monde. Il est tout à fait normale que le premier pays cosmopolite donne le ton.

Il aurait été heureux, aujourd'hui et fier, le révérend Martin Luther King , de voir ce qui vient de se produire ; lui qui l'avait rêvé comme il le dit dans son texte, qui aujourd'hui prend une intonation de victoire et non seulement d'espérance. Victoire sur les préjugés, l'ignorance et la peur de la nouveauté et de l'étranger. Oui le peuple américain par sa majorité donne à nouveau le ton et l'orientation au monde.

La seule espérance que j'ai c'est que l'obamania apporte ce changement promis dans la politique sociale, économique, et humanitaire, et que ce changement rayonne dans le reste du monde.

On se sent tous aujourd'hui américain et tous,  nous pouvons crier :  Non plus  " We shall over come one day " mais plutôt :  
" Thank God  We over come..."
